Dawn Rondeau-Irvine, Chief Operations Officer at We Are Weymouth comments: “We are excited to celebrate Halloween here in Weymouth with a host of Zombie and Halloween themed fun.  When we were approached by The Nothe Fort and Island Community Action for funding to bring the Nothe of the Living dead concept into the town centre, we were thrilled to support this, in order to offer something unique to the town for both visitors and locals. Weymouth is renowned for dressing-up and the ‘party atmosphere’, and we were excited for the opportunity to work collaboratively in this way to bring a full week of activities to the town. We believe that ‘Zombie week’ is set to be huge and will launch a legacy event that we can build upon for future years. We kick off the weeks’ activities with the interactive Zombie treasure hunt, with live action characters in businesses across the town and conclude it with a Zombie Parade. The excitement is tangible as the town’s businesses are taking part, so expect to find witches, ghouls and zombies at every turn, offering a unique blend of fun and fright for all ages.”

Zombie Week is set to be an unmissable event, providing a perfect blend of entertainment and scares. Whether you’re a local or visiting Weymouth for the half term, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Don’t miss out on the chance to be part of this hauntingly good time.
