Event Details

Taking place at Dorchester Library from 11.00 a.m.-12.30 p.m. on Saturday 16th February 2019, ‘The Great Ming Code’ will examine how the rule of law in 14th Century China reached into every aspect of people’s lives, even the most powerful figure of the time, the Emperor.

Justin will also reveal how this period of history inspired his latest novel, The Old Dragon’s Head, a historical fantasy and supernatural thriller set in the Ming Dynasty and played out in the shadows of the Great Wall of China.

Author Bio
After a long career in I.T., his love of literature finally seduced him. In 2006, Justin found his way to the creative keyboard to start his debut novel, The Genes of Isis, a tale of love, destruction and ethereal power set under Ancient Egyptian skies.
He is currently working on a novel set in East Prussia during the Enlightenment in the 18th Century which speculates on an alternative genesis to the Industrial Revolution.
Justin writes historical fiction with a supernatural twist. His novels explore the spirit of our times, the underlying narrative to every culture and nation.
