The Jurassic Coast Raptors American Football team are seeking new players in preparation for the 2020 season. We invite anyone with an interest in playing the game to come along to our rookie event and get a taste of one of the fastest-growing and exciting sports in the UK.

The Raptors are looking for adults age 18 and over. The event is free of charge, and will be held over three consecutive Wednesdays in October, the 9th, 16nd, and 23rd at the Avenue Stadium, Dorchester, 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Helmets and pads are supplied, however, participants will need to bring their gum-shield and rugby or football boots with molded cleats suitable for artificial pitches.

It doesn’t matter if you’re 9 stone and 5’4”, or 19 stone and 6’8” you can play, you just need to bring effort, a positive attitude and desire to help the team every time you step onto the pitch.

The Raptors are also thrilled to continue our association with Dorchester Football Club at The Avenue Stadium for the 2020 season, using the fantastic state of the art 3G artificial pitch and facilities for training and games. This is the best venue in our division by some considerable margin, and our game day experience for the supporters was leagues ahead of any of the opponents we played last season.
