Event Details
In May 2023, we are taking part in “The Big Fix 2023”. It is an event where Repair Cafes and repair organisations all over the UK will try to raise awareness of our amazing achievements. We are holding a mammoth 3 hour event with as many repairers as we can cram into Top Club. Join us at our May event!
Avoid the bin and save landfill
We throw away vast amounts of stuff, which could get a new lease of life with a simple repair. One repair can save up to 24 kilos of CO2 going into the atmosphere, by preventing the need to recycle discarded items and manufacture/ transport new ones – and it will save you money.
At our Repair Cafe, there are tools, materials and expert volunteers. We aim to do repairs that take up to 40 minutes. If it needs longer, we can advise so you can complete the repair at home or you can bring it to another event for us to finish the job.
