Exclusive Interview: Agincare CEO Breaks Silence on Gainsborough Care Home Incident

Agincare Chief Executive Raina Summerson spoke exclusively with Air 107.2’s Emma Nicholson following the closure of the police investigation into three deaths at Gainsborough Care Home in Swanage on 24th October 2024.
The police investigation ruled out a leak of carbon monoxide and a thorough examination of the scene also ruled out any other apparent environmental factors that may have contributed to the deaths.
Analysis carried out as part of the investigation also concluded that two of the residents died of natural causes, and not revealed any third-party involvement or contribution of environmental factors that require further police investigation into the death of the third resident.
Agincare agreed to take part in the interview with Air 107.2, as a local, independent community radio station, to share the context in full with the understanding that it would be made openly available on the Air 107.2 website for all media outlets and the public to access.
