Inclusive cycling sessions coming to Weymouth

A new cycling initiative for young people with accessibility needs is coming to Weymouth.

Dorset Council and the charity Wheels 4 All are working together to get young people learning to ride a bike, and also help young people who want to build up their confidence on two wheels.

It’s hoped the sessions will help increase people’s fitness levels and improve the mental wellbeing of residents in Weymouth.

There’ll be a number of styles of bikes and trikes on offer.

This project is being funded by Dorset Council, Weymouth Town Council, The Nature, Art and Wellbeing Community Fund and Public Health Dorset.

Could you help out as a volunteer?

Could you give a couple of hours a week to help get the initiative underway? Volunteers are needed to help get bicycles ready for participants.
