Weymouth vigil for Brianna Ghey

Everyone was shocked at the news of the death of Brianna Ghey recently.
The sixteen year old was murdered in Warrington on Saturday 11th February – Brianna was transgender, and there have been vigils taking place across the country to show solidarity and support for the trans community.
There is one in Weymouth this evening (18th February), taking place at the clock tower from 6-7pm.
It’s been organised by Charity Gardiner, a local youth worker, and supported by Weymouth Gay Group.
It’s all official, with Weymouth Town Council giving the event the go ahead.
Everyone is welcome to attend, you’re advised to dress warmly and bring a candle.
