Access Wellbeing Weymouth and Portland celebrates two year anniversary

Access Wellbeing Weymouth and Portland celebrates two years at Hope House

Access Wellbeing Weymouth and Portland is marking its second anniversary this week, celebrating two years of providing free, friendly mental health and wellbeing support from its base at Hope House.

Since opening its doors in February 2024, the service has supported adults aged 18 and over living in Dorset, offering help through Hope House and a range of community drop-in spaces. Over the past two years, the team has delivered 3,453 appointments, with 1,037 people accessing support through drop-in sessions.

The milestone was marked by a networking event in Dorchester, hosted by The Lantern Trust, bringing together partners, supporters and members of the wider community.

The South West Dorset team has made a significant impact since launch, and the service has become a trusted, accessible source of support for people seeking help with their mental health and wellbeing.

Access Wellbeing expressed its gratitude to its partners and to everyone who has walked through the doors and trusted the team with their story.
