Damage to the temporary toilets in Weymouth has meant the toilets have been temporarily closed today (29th July)

Situated by the Pavilion, the toilets had been installed as a temporary measure whilst construction of a new toilet block is completed.

Reports have been circulating today though that the toilets have been forced to close, due to suspected vandalism of the loos. Weymouth Town Council have been approached for a comment, although according to Twitter they hope they will be back in use by tomorrow morning (30th July).

The toilets were due to be open until Sunday 13th September and have been recently relocated to the Pavilion Forecourt this year, rather than the previous location opposite Alexandra Gardens to ensure that social distancing can be maintained in the surrounding area. The temporary toilet facilities include male, female, and accessible facilities.
