Dorset radio presenter dies after short illness
Former BBC Radio Solent and 2CR FM presenter Richard Cartridge has died after a short illness – just weeks after retiring from radio.
Richard, who was one of the station’s longest serving presenters. Richard has sadly passed away after a short illness.
Raised in Dorset, he was a firm favourite with listeners for many years on Radio Solent, Bournemouth-based 2CR FM and Classic FM. He was also a former columnist at the Southern Daily Echo.
