Letter: Benches remembering those who died in the world wars are so evocative

I RECENTLY walked my dog around one of the ponds abutting Weymouth Relief Road at Littlemoor. To my surprise and delight I discovered there are five black metal benches remembering and commemorating the fallen of the 1914-1918 First World War and the 1939-1945 Second World War. These benches are made beautifully and are very evocative. There are also two information boards, to be completed, but there ready.
