New Inclusive Learning Option Launching in Weymouth This Spring

A new inclusive learning and wellbeing provision is set to open in Weymouth this spring, offering support for home-educated children and young people with SEND or SEMH needs who are currently unable to access a traditional school setting.

The Pod, Weymouth will offer Rebound Therapy and movement-based sessions designed to support learning, emotional regulation and wellbeing in a calm and supportive environment. The sessions aim to help children and young people build confidence, improve focus and support both physical wellbeing and readiness to learn.

Fully inclusive by design, The Pod has been created to meet children and young people where they are, providing flexible, nurturing support tailored to individual needs.

As preparations continue ahead of opening, families are being invited to help shape the programme. Parents and carers within the Home Education community, as well as those supporting children with additional needs, are encouraged to complete a short form to share what sessions they would find most helpful.
