Preston Pantomime Returns with Laughter, Energy and a New Commitment to Accessibility
Preston Pantomime is back with a bang after a joyful and laughter-filled return to rehearsals, marking an exciting new chapter for the much-loved local theatre group. The company kicked things off with a fun, unscripted evening that proved the magic is still very much alive – and audiences are already being invited to join in.
Tickets are now on sale, and in a significant and welcome step forward, Preston Pantomime has announced its very first Accessible Performance, taking place on the opening night of its next production.
Next Production: February 2026
The group is delighted to reveal that its next show will be Red Riding Hood and the Three Little Pigs, running from Wednesday 18th February to Saturday 21st February 2026 at the village hall.
The Accessible Performance will be held on Wednesday 18th February, designed to ensure that more people can enjoy pantomime in a relaxed, inclusive and welcoming environment.
Accessible Performance Features Include:
• A quieter environment with reduced sound effects
• House lights kept on during the performance
• A pre-show introduction to characters
• Designated wheelchair spaces, step-free access and an accessible toilet
• Flexibility for audience members to move around during the show
Performance Schedule
• Evening performances: 7:30pm (doors open 7pm)
• Saturday matinee: 2:30pm (doors open 2pm)
