Teenager Bitten by a Dog in Wyke Regis
Police have issued an image of a woman they’d like to speak to after a teenage girl was bitten by a dog in Weymouth.
The incident happened back on 7th September at around 2.30 pm.
The 14-year-old was pushing her scooter along High Street in Wyke Regis while doing her paper round when she walked past a woman with two dogs.
One of the dogs sniffed the girl’s leg before biting her, making a hole in her leggings and puncturing the skin.
The woman walked off with the dogs without saying anything.
Police Constable Jennie Sykes-Martin, of Dorset Police, said:
“The girl took a photo of the woman as she walked away and I am appealing to anyone who recognises her to please contact us.
“I would also like to appeal directly to the woman involved in this incident to come forward so we can take your account.”
