ANTIX MUSIC NETWORK RELEASES FUNDRAISING SINGLE

Antix Music Network, based in Weymouth, are releasing a fundraising single called ‘Monsters’, in aid of NHS Dorset County Hospital Charity, and AIR 107.2, a not-for-profit community radio station in Weymouth.

‘Monsters’ which was released at 8am this morning, features lead vocals from 13 year old multi-talented musician Asha, Modern Disciples front man Tim Fawkes and a 35 strong ‘Virtual Choir’, produced by Frazer Mitchell.

The track was released to raise funds for two important organisations who are in need of funds during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The first beneficiary, AIR 107.2, is a not-for-profit community interest company, who has served Weymouth & Portland on FM since 2012. Run by a team of volunteers, AIR 107.2 has been broadcasting to the community during the Coronavirus Pandemic providing local information, support and entertainment to many people during the outbreak.

Unfortunately, AIR 107.2 has seen a decline in its funding recently, due to the COVID-19 outbreak; however the demand for its services has increased.

It addition to raising funds for AIR 107.2, the single also aims to support the NHS during the Coronavirus Outbreak. Therefore, the other 50% of the tracks revenue will go to the Dorset County Hospital Charity and their COVID-19 appeal, which is raising funds to provide extra support to the hospital staff working under immense pressure during the Coronavirus pandemic

The single is immediately available to buy and stream on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and Google Play. In addition to this, a GoFundMe page has also been set up to maximise donations and can be found at https://www.gofundme.com/f/monsters-fundraising-single-for-nhs-amp-air1072
