A New Arrival at SEA LIFE Weymouth: Fairy Penguin Chick Hatched!

SEA LIFE Weymouth is celebrating a special addition to its penguin family! A Fairy Penguin chick hatched on 30th January and has been lovingly named Henry.

Henry is currently being hand-reared by SEA LIFE’s skilled aquarists, who are closely monitoring his development and supporting his early growth.

SEA LIFE Weymouth is home to the only colony of Little (Fairy) Penguins in Europe, making Henry’s arrival a particularly exciting milestone for both the team and visitors.

The aquarium looks forward to sharing updates on Henry’s progress as he grows over the coming weeks, giving guests a chance to witness the journey of this tiny new penguin star 💙
