Beach Road Traffic Lights Update: Adjustments Ahead

Dorset Council News – Residents and commuters, take note! Dorset Council has acknowledged the concerns surrounding the temporary two-way traffic signals currently in operation between Weymouth and Portland.

In response to feedback, our contractor, alongside the Dorset Council traffic management team, has been actively monitoring traffic patterns to ensure smoother travel for all road users.

To enhance traffic flow, the contractor will be implementing adjustments to the traffic signal timings. This means longer green phases will be allocated for vehicles leaving Portland in the morning rush and for those making their way back in the afternoon.
