Weymouth FC Book Spot in Dorset Senior Cup Final After 5–1 Semi-Final Victory

Weymouth Football Club have reached the final of the 2025/26 Dorset Senior Cup following an impressive 5–1 win away at Sherborne Town in the semi-final on 14 January 2026.

 

The Terras took the lead early, with Ben Moss scoring in the 15th minute, assisted by Matty Burrows. Just minutes later, Burrows himself scored to make it 2–0, setting the tone for a dominant first half.

 

Weymouth continued their strong performance after the break, with Calvin Brooks heading in a third goal and Barney Stone netting a superb strike. Tom Bearwish added a fifth, sealing the victory for the visitors. Sherborne managed a consolation score from a free kick late in the game, but Weymouth’s win was never in doubt.

 

This result sees Weymouth through to the county cup final, a great boost for the squad and supporters as they chase silverware this season.
