Dorset Council’s leader says support remains in place for communities affected by flooding across the county.

Councillor Nick Ireland says recent weeks have been incredibly tough, with groundwater levels at historic highs causing road closures and disruption to homes and businesses.

Council crews continue to clear drains and manage risks, while plans are being developed for longer-term investment to improve Dorset’s flood resilience.
